Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park, this place combines a relaxed, elegant atmosphere with stunning gardens and woodland surroundings — the perfect backdrop for a stunning wedding and a brilliant wedding film.

Why I love filming at Wickwoods Country Club

Wickwoods is a little slice of Sussex countryside paradise. With its landscaped gardens, private ceremony room, and woodlands in the back, it strikes a balance between stylish and natural. Being so close to Brighton, Lewes, and all of East Sussex makes it super easy for your guests to get there, and only a couple minutes from Devils Dyke make for the most gorgeous sunset portraits.

Real Weddings at Wickwoods Country Club

Emma & Joe’s wedding at Wickwoods was full of energy, laughter, and so many memorable moments. After their beautiful ceremony in the Orangery, we headed up to Devil’s Dyke in their blue VW campervan for sunset — the view was incredible, and it gave them a few quiet moments away from the buzz of the day. It was one of those weddings that was a total joy to capture — fun, relaxed, and completely authentic.

Ceremony Rooms at Wickwoods Country Club

Wickwoods Country Club, Hotel & Spa has a fantastic mix of elegant indoor spaces and beautiful outdoor settings, making it a really versatile venue for any style of wedding.

The Orangery – a bright, modern space flooded with natural light and overlooking the gardens. It’s ideal for civil ceremonies and can host up to 70 guests.
The Garden Room – stylish, spacious, and perfect for wedding breakfasts and receptions. It opens out onto a large terrace with gorgeous views across the grounds, giving your guests space to mingle and enjoy the setting.
Function Suite – combining the Garden Room with the Orangery creates a breathtaking space for larger celebrations. Wickwoods can accommodate up to 140 for a wedding breakfast and 200 for the evening party.

For couples looking to stay the night, there’s also a complimentary honeymoon suite with a balcony, plus several beautifully appointed guest rooms on site and more accommodation options nearby.

Wickwoods is also incredibly practical — just a short drive from Brighton, Horsham, and Gatwick Airport, it’s easy for both local and out-of-town guests to reach.
