Why You (might) Need a Wedding Filmmaker

Updated: Aug 29

Okay,

I might be a little biased here,

But I must say that there's something about a wedding film that just... feels different. The emotion, the movement, the sound of your and your partner's vows, and the chaos of the confetti being thrown in the air and time suddenly slowing down, perhaps as it did in the moment.

A gorgeous wedding at Pelham House, Lewes, East Sussex.

Alongside a photographer who will capture every moment as a snapshot of reality, and whose photos you can print and hang on your wall. A filmmaker will capture the way you walk down the aisle and the way your partner reacts when he hears you coming. We will capture the laugh of your parents when the best man's speech hits the inevitable embarrassing stories.

One of the biggest regrets I hear from people is that they either didn't hire a videographer at all, or they didn't invest enough in their film and ended up with a sub-par video that didn't capture the day how it felt.

As an East Sussex wedding filmmaker - I create films that are individual to every wedding and try to tell the story of that day as genuinely as possible so that you can look back for generations to come and really feel the day.

Thanks very much for reading,

Hope to hear from you soon

Roddy :)
